About
Fiberglass Repair

A straightforward account of who we are, how we work, and what we focus on.

Started in a Boat Shop,
Expanded From There

Fiberglass Repair started in 2010 as a marine-focused operation in East Texas. The initial work was almost entirely boat hull repair — stress cracks, osmotic blistering, impact damage on aluminum-reinforced fiberglass hulls in the lake communities around Buffalo.

Over time, clients started bringing in RVs and later automotive panels, which pushed us to expand the types of materials and techniques we worked with. Industrial clients came later, primarily through referrals from commercial marina operators who needed tank and equipment housing repairs.

Today we operate out of Buffalo, TX and serve clients across multiple sectors. Marine work still makes up a significant portion of our volume, but RV and industrial repair have grown steadily. We remain a small team — this keeps quality control straightforward and communication direct.

Our Approach

Honest Assessment First

Before any work begins, we tell you what we actually found — including cases where repair isn't the right answer or where we can only take the work so far given the material's age or condition.

No Rushed Timelines

Fiberglass repair involves waiting — resin curing, moisture drying, multiple laminate layers. We don't rush these steps to turn the job around faster. The timeline we give is based on what the repair actually requires.

Right Material for the Job

We match repair materials to the application — using epoxy where polyester isn't appropriate, selecting chemically compatible products for industrial containers, and not cutting corners on reinforcement layers for structural work.

How the Business
Has Developed

Growth came primarily through referrals and expanding into adjacent repair categories as clients brought in different types of work.
