Refund Policy

Last updated: March 17, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to repair and restoration services provided by Fiberglass Repair, located at 1065 Railroad St, Buffalo, TX 75831. It explains how we handle payments, cancellations, and concerns about completed work.

1. Service Agreement and Estimates

Before any repair work begins, we provide a written estimate outlining the scope of work and associated costs. Work does not commence until the client has reviewed and approved the estimate. Changes in scope discovered during the repair process (for example, damage not visible until the surface is prepared) will be communicated to the client before proceeding with additional work.

2. Deposits

For certain jobs, particularly larger repairs or those requiring special-order materials, we may require a deposit at the time of scheduling. Deposit amounts and terms will be specified in the service agreement. Deposits cover material procurement and scheduling resources committed to your job.

Deposit Cancellations

If you need to cancel a scheduled repair:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled start date: Full deposit refund, less any materials already ordered that cannot be returned.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled start date: Deposit may be partially or fully forfeited depending on materials ordered and scheduling impact. We will communicate the specific amount clearly.

3. Payment for Completed Work

Payment for completed repair work is due upon completion and inspection by the client, unless other payment terms are specified in the service agreement. We accept payment by the methods stated on your invoice.

4. Concerns About Completed Work

We take quality seriously and want every client to be satisfied with the result. If you have concerns about completed work, please contact us within 14 days of job completion. We will review the concern, which may involve an on-site inspection, and work with you toward a reasonable resolution. This may include remedial work at no additional charge where the concern is determined to be within the scope of the original repair.

Concerns that arise from new damage, improper use, or conditions outside the scope of the original repair are not covered under this policy but may be assessed as a separate service request.

5. Refunds for Unsatisfactory Work

Where we are unable to resolve a legitimate quality concern through remedial work, we will discuss refund options with the client on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

We do not issue refunds for work completed as described in the service agreement where the client's expectations were not aligned with the documented scope, or for natural variations inherent to repair work such as minor color variation in gelcoat refinishing on aged surfaces.

6. Service Limitations

Fiberglass repair work involves inherent limitations that are disclosed prior to service. Color matching on aged gelcoat, repair visibility on certain surface types, and long-term durability on heavily damaged structures are factors that depend on conditions beyond our control. These limitations are communicated clearly at the estimate stage. Agreement to proceed with an estimate that includes stated limitations constitutes acknowledgment of those limitations.
